Islamic Marriage / Nikah Procedures

BICC provides Islamic marriage services for couples who complete the required legal documents, identification, forms, and scheduling steps.

Nikah Procedure at BICC

  1. Obtain a marriage license from the town hall of the city where you reside in Connecticut.
  2. Prepare photo IDs for both marrying parties, the Wali or guardian, and two witnesses.
  3. Pay the Islamic marriage fee of $150 through the following BICC donation/payment link.
  4. Make the Payment
  5. Complete the Islamic Marriage Certification (Nikah) Form via the following Online link.
  6. Submit Nikah Form Online
  7. Upload copies of the license, IDs, payment confirmation, and completed form to Online Nikah Form.
  8. If you are unlable to upload, Email copies of the license, IDs, payment confirmation, and completed form to nikah@mybicc.org.
  9. Small ceremonies may be conducted at the BICC Sheikh’s office or masjid if guests are fewer than 15 people.
  10. For larger gatherings, reserve the BICC Social Room through the hall reservation process.

  12. BICC will provide each marrying party with an Islamic marriage certificate for their records.
