Islamic Marriage (Nikkah) Procedures at BICC
To perform an Islamic marriage (Nikkah) at BICC, the following procedure is used:

Obtain a marriage license from the town hall of the City where you reside in Connecticut.

Photo IDs are needed for the marrying parties, the Wali (Guardian), and two witnesses.

The fee for an Islamic marriage is $150. Please pay the Nikkah fees at https://us.mohid.co/ct/bridgeport/bicc/masjid/online/donation/94

Please complete the form at: Islamic Marriage Certification Form

Send copies of all materials from 1, 2, 3, and 4 to imam@mybicc.org

The marriage will be conducted at the BICC Sheikh’s office or masjid if the number of guests is less than 15 people. Large gatherings that would like to celebrate can rent the BICC Social Room using the form at: Hall Reservation Form

BICC will provide each marrying party with an Islamic marriage certificate for their record.
