- The idea of building a comprehensive Islamic Center in Bridgeport area started around year 2000.
- BICC Incorporated in July 17 , 2002.
- Saturday School in University of Bridgeport (UB) masjid Started in early 2000 with 15 students, and in a couple of months 100 students were enrolled.
- University of Bridgeport (UB) provided Dana Hall for free one full year
- The School continued in Dana Hall till May 2007
- Al-Manar Center was bought in September 2005 for $307,000
- New Islamic Center in 877 Park Avenue was bought in May 2017 for $1 million
